Dear colleagues,

On behalf of the organizing committee, it is a great pleasure to welcome you to the 46th annual SSPD meeting in Reykjavík, Iceland August 15 – 17, 2018.

The topic of the meeting is “Evidence based approach in prosthetic dentistry”.

We have designed a program where we concentrate on a complete treatment of compromised partially edentulous patients, from diagnosis to the final reconstruction. We will also have a session on treatment of fully edentulous patients with removable dentures and overdentures.

The meeting will take place at Grand Hotel in Reykjavík.

We will travel with a bus to the official dinner taking place at Fjöruborðið, a well-known langoustine restaurant located at the seashore in Stokkseyri about 50 minutes-drive outside of Reykjavík. Before the dinner we will take an aperitif at the ghost, elves and northern lights museum, located next house to the restaurant, where we will be able to listen to some Icelandic ghost stories and see the northern lights.

We look very much forward to seeing you in Iceland.

Ellen Flosadóttir,

Bjarni E Pjetursson,

Jón Ólafur Sigurjónsson,

Erna Rún Einarsdóttir.
