Who are we ?

SSPD was founded in 1972 by representatives from the prosthodontic departments of the dental schools in the five Nordic countries Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden.
SSPD aims to promote scientific activity and advance knowledge of prosthetic dentistry within the Nordic countries.

Annual meeting

A scientific meeting is arranged annually with the society's General Assembly, alternating between the Nordic countries. The official language at these meetings is English.
